The 1.6 ounce polyurethane coated, ripstop nylon body (91.5" X 65.5") provides the ultimate in foul weather protection and numerous other applications: hasty shelter, body bag, cistern, floor covering, and sleeping bag cover. The poncho comes with an attached hood that is chemically sealed to ensure 100% waterproof integrity with waist and hood drawstrings - anything else is a copy. The poncho is usually carried on a soldier's butt-pack or in one of the outer pockets of his/her rucksack.
